Being a police officer is a terribly dangerous (and essential) profession. The police in Carroll County, GA released video of a police chase from April 12, 2021, of two men, that ended in an ambush - when one of the criminals shot at them with an AK-47. Three heroic officers were wounded in the whole (hours long) incident/chase. The shooter shown with the AK-47, was killed.
